Municipal Codes

Your city code, organized, online and always up to date.

Overview

A code your staff and residents can actually use

Codification organizes your ordinances into a logical code of law, which makes governmental affairs easier to administer and the law easier for residents to follow. We develop a comprehensive code for your city, including organizing and modernizing existing ordinances and resolutions.

Once complete, your code goes online in our Code Library, where staff and citizens can browse and search the latest version. We also provide printed code books, updated with annual supplements.

  • Organization and modernization of existing ordinances
  • Online code, searchable and current
  • Printed code books with annual supplements

What we do

How we help

From the first draft to every new ordinance, we keep your code organized and easy to find.

Our process

Step by step

A clear sequence, with your staff and governing body informed at every stage.

01

Collect

You send us your existing ordinances, resolutions and any prior code.

02

Organize

We arrange the material into a structured code and flag outdated or conflicting provisions for review.

03

Review & adopt

City staff and the governing body review the draft, and the city adopts the code by ordinance.

04

Publish & maintain

We post the code online, provide printed books and add new ordinances as they are adopted.
